The Bulls fired interim head coach Jim Boylan on Thursday, this according to Slam Sports. "I was brought in here in the middle of the season," Boylan said yesterday. "It's kind of a tough situation...Sitting in the head coach's seat was comfortable and enjoyable. I loved the challenge."

Ben Gordon will miss the rest of the season with a lower abdominal strain, this according to the AP. “It just really wasn’t improving all that much,” interim coach Jim Boylan said. Gordon finishes the year averaging 18.9 points on 43.1% shooting and both he and the Bulls will hope to improve in 2008 on this disappointing effort.

The Bulls Mr. Offense, Ben Gordon, led the team with 18 points on Saturday night as one of only three players who scored in double figures. This year has seen a regression in Gordon's shooting percentage, scoring average, rebounds and assist totals. However, all the numbers are still right on his career averages but they are still slightly below the totals he posted last season.
