Shaun Livingston did not practice Thursday because of a strained left wrist, an injury that occurred in the Utah game earlier this week, the Orange County Register reports. Livingston said he would be ready to play tonight against Portland.

The LA Times reports that, barring an injury, Shaun Livingston is expected to start over Sam Cassell when the season gets underway. This should come as no surprise, but the Clippers have remained tight-lipped about whether the inevitable changing of the (point) guard would happen right away or during the season. Livingston is loaded with talent and has sleeper written all over him.
