Dorell Wright is making good progress as he recovers from early March surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee, the Miami Herald reports. The 22-year-old swingman is set to be an unrestricted free agent this summer, but signs point to him returning to Miami. Wright remains roughly a month away from returning to basketball activities.

Dorell Wright underwent season-ending knee surgery on Monday, according to the AP. The procedure repaired a torn meniscus in the joint, and he should be ready for training camp. Wright's set to become a restricted free agent, but the Heat currently want to bring him back.

Despite taking an elbow to the mouth that resulted in two lost teeth in Saturday's loss to the 76ers, Dorell Wright is not expected to miss any court time. The Miami Herald reports that Wright dismissed the idea of missed minutes because of the injury, saying, ``It's OK now''. ''He just busted a couple of caps, but we got him fixed up last night,'' Riley said. ``He has a headache, but other than that, he'll be all right.'' Wright has averaged 12.8 points per game in February.

Dorell Wright left the Saturday night loss to the 76ers in the third quarter after losing two teeth when he took an elbow to the face. Wright is considered day-to-day and should not miss playing time to dental work.

Dorell Wright scored 15 points and registered seven rebounds and three assists Sunday in a loss to the Lakers. Wright could be considered short-term solution in larger leagues, but once Udonis Haslem returns in 2-3 weeks Wright has little-to-no fantasy worth, especially with the addition of forward Shawn Marion.
