The Boston Herald is reporting that Celtics' guard Tony Allen settled his civil court case on Monday. Allen was previously found not guilty on a charge of aggrevated battery in the criminal case stemming from a 2005 incident.

ESPN.com reports that because of an ankle injury Tony Allen may not play until the second week of the season.

According to the Miami Herald, Tony Allen underwent successful surgery on his right ankle Wednesday.
