Kevin Martin is being listed as out for Saturday night due to a strained right knee, this according to the Sacramento Bee.

Kevin Martin overcame the flu, an illness that caused him to miss the shoot around, to score 36 points in the Kings 118-115 victory over the Nuggets. Martin played almost 41 minutes on the night hitting 10 shots from the field including three from downtown. He did turn the ball over six times, but without those point the Kings would likely not have been able to keep up with the Nuggets.

Kevin Martin will end up playing on Saturday night after all, this according to the Sacramento Bee. Apparently Martin felt good enough after doing some work this afternoon that he will suit up to play against Denver.

Kevin Martin, Ron Artest and Brad Miller may all miss the Kings game with the Nuggets on Saturday, this according to the Sacramento Bee. Martin is dealing with the flu, Artest with a sprained left thumb and Miller with a lower leg strain. Throw in the fact that Beno Udrih is also expected to miss the game with a lower back strain, and there are likely a lot of unhappy fans in Dallas and Golden State who are battling the Nuggets for playoff positioning.

Kevin Martin was the man of the hour for the Sacramento Kings, posting an overtime 107-106 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. Martin went just 9-of-20 from the field but was a perfect 16-of-16 from the free-throw line, scoring 36 points with seven rebounds and four assists. It's amazing how Martin has taken control of this offense, scoring big point in nearly every outing this month. He likes to shoot and he likes to score.

Kevin Martin scored 20 points on Friday night, but in very unorthodox fashion as he was just 2-for-12 from the field but 15-for-17 from the free throw line. Martin continues to find ways to score no matter what the situation, but on this night he had only two rebounds and just one assist while having three of his shots blocked.
March 8, 2008
Kevin Martin impressively scored 48 points in a losing effort for the Kings on Friday. The next highest scorer on the team was John Salmons with 15. That is amazing considering he entered the game listed as questionable with his thumb injury.
February 22, 2008
Kevin Martin scored 15 points though he didn't hit his first FG until OT as he went only 1-for-8 from the field. Martin, who came into the game averaging 23.3 points, just couldn't buy a basket until late in the game as this was his sixth straight game of less than 45% shooting from the field.
February 12, 2008
Kevin Martin scored 26 of his 33 points in the first half of Tuesday's loss to the Griz. Martin, who is averaging over 23 points per game this year, recorded his second straight poor shooting performance. The Kings shooting guard was 9-of-23 from the field. In Sunday's loss to Golden State, Martin made just 3-of-16 shots. The third-year guard has been inconsistent as of late but is a must start in traditional formats.
February 10, 2008
Kevin Martin has been a scoring whiz for the Kings this season pouring in 23.3 points per game, but for the second time in three nights he was held to single digits as he made just 3-of-16 shots on his way to nine points against the Warriors. Martin was also 1-for-5 on three points and 2-for-4 from the line in an all-around poor performance. Strangely enough, if you remove those two single digit games, Martin has gone for at least 22 in his last six games.
January 12, 2008
Kevin Martin was back on the court as expected Saturday, playing 28 minutes in a loss to the Pacers.
January 12, 2008
Kevin Martin has been cleared to return to action on Saturday, according to the Sacramento Bee. Martin, who has been out since early December with a groin injury, will come off the bench initially as he gets his game legs under him.
