The Lakers acquired former UCLA forward Trevor Ariza on Tuesday from the Orlando Magic. The AP reported that L.A. sent Brian Cook and Maurice Evans to Orlando. The Magic also released Bo Outlaw to make room on its roster.

Trevor Ariza said he sustained a sprained MCL in his right knee when he slipped on a wet spot on the floor during Wednesday's game, according to the Orlando Sentinel. He is expected to miss the next six to eight weeks.
