As expected, Marvin Williams returned from his fractured finger last night. He came off the bench to score nine points in 25 minutes of action. Eventually, he could unseat Sheldon Williams in the Hawks' starting lineup.

Marvin Williams, who is returning from a fractured finger, has been cleared to play Friday against the Lakers, accordng to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "I'm trying to get ready by Friday," a grinning Williams said. "I'm going to be winded, for sure, because there's nothing like basketball shape. It'll take me a week or so to get all the way back to where I want to be. But I'll be there Friday night, which is most important, and I'll be back to normal in no time."
