Joey Graham tried to play last night despite still battling the effects of an illness, but eventually coach Sam Mitchell had to pull the ineffective Graham from the game, according to the Toronto Star. "I've gained a lot of respect for Joey," said Mitchell. "I didn't realize until he missed, I think, the Detroit game, how sick the kid was. He was really sick, he practised and he played and he just didn't have anything. He had a temperature way over 100 in Detroit and he came on the trip with the idea he was going to play that night."
