The Express-News reports that Ian Mahinmi will miss at least the first several days of training camp, which begins Tuesday, as he continues recovery from a sprained right ankle he suffered recently in informal workouts at the team's practice facility.

French power forward Ian Mahinmi signed with the Spurs on Thursday according to the AP. Mahinmi, 20, was drafted by San Antonio in 2005 with the 28th overall pick. He averaged 4.3 points and 3.2 rebounds in 33 French League games last season.
