The Lakers are reporting injured center Andrew Bynum is considering arthroscopic surgery to alleviate the problems in his left knee, according to the LA Times.

Andrew Bynum will go to Princeton, NJ and get a second opinion from Dr. Steven Gecha regarding his left knee, ESPN.com reports. Bynum dislocated his kneecap and suffered a bone bruise on January 13 and has been slow to recover. He has been ruled out of the playoffs.

There are no plans for the injured Lakers center Andrew Bynum to begin practicing any time soon, this according to the LA Times. If the Lakers eventually advance to the NBA Finals, the earliest start date would be June 3.
