C.J. Miles got the start Monday for Andrei Kirilenko, who is dealing with the flu. Miles ended the night with eight points on 3-of-6 six in just over 17 minutes of play. He hadn't played that many minutes in nearly a month. Coach Jerry Sloan said he started Miles instead of Kyle Korver or Matt Harpring because he wanted to keep the two forwards in their regular role coming off the bench. "I was a little tentative at first," Miles said in the Salt Lake Tribune. "The first half I had jitters, putting pressure on my shoulders. The second half, I was a little bit more free. I let Peja [Stojakovic] get a couple good looks, but other than that I felt a lot better the second half."
