Josh Boone admits he's willing to fight for his job as the starting center again in camp, according to the Newark Star-Ledger. "Everybody wants to play. Everyone wants to keep his spot. I'm going to do whatever I can to keep my spot," he said. "And if it so happens that somebody beats me out - which hopefully is not gonna happen, I'm going to do everything in my power not to (let it) - if that's the case, he's still my teammate and I want to win."

The Nets appear to be focused on big men as they prepare for the 2008 NBA draft. Darrell Arthur (Kansas), Kevin Love (UCLA), and Anthony Randolph (LSU) are the three main targets, a source informs the Newark Star-Ledger. Danilo Gallinari is also scheduled for a workout. The Nets own the 10th overall pick.

Continuing a recent streak of good play, Nets frontcourt and power swingman, Josh Boone, grabbed 13 boards on Saturday night. He also had seven points and two blocks, and is now averaging 12.5 points and 11.3 rebounds over his last six.
