Adam Morrison got his first pro start Friday but didn't do a lot with the opportunity, scoring just nine points on 3-for-12 shooting in 27 minutes against Seattle. Morrison was pressed into the starting lineup with Raymond Felton (rib) not available; Brevin Knight, the usual off guard, shifted to the point.

Adam Morrison will come off the bench to open the season, according to the AP. Head coach Bernie Bickerstaff has decided to use Brevin Knight at shooting guard. Morrison started four of the Bobcats' eight preseason games, averaging 11.6 points and 36-percent shooting. "He's done well, but he's still a rookie," Bickerstaff said.
