Greg Oden is ready to begin his NBA after having to sit out all of last season due to a knee injury that required surgery, according to the Associated Press. Im still rehabbing, but Im ready to play, Oden said. I can work out, I can lift, no 5-on-5, no 3-on-3. Thats where everything is going, towards me being able to play when the season starts..."

ESPN reports that the Blazers player personnel finally got an up close look at their future on Wednesday when center Greg Oden , who has missed the entire season, practiced with the team for 45 minutes. Oden, who is sitting out what would have been his rookie season after undergoing microfracture surgery on his right knee, jumped, dunked and took part in offensive plays with his teammates, according to the report.
