The Pistons signed Cheick Samb to a two-year contract Tuesday. Samb was acquired from the Lakers for Maurice Evans on draft day 2006. He spent last season playing for Barcelona's B team in Spain, according to the Detroit News. He is expected to spend most of next season playing for the Pistons' NBDL affiliate in Fort Wayne, Ind.
