Aaron McKie wasn't with the team in Wednesday's loss to the 76ers for personal reasons. McKie began the season as an assistant coach with the 76ers -- then was signed by the Los Angeles Lakers -- and then traded to Memphis.

Aaron McKie was part of the Pau Gasol trade on Friday, heading to Memphis in a sign-and-trade. Grizzlies coach Marc Iavaroni said that McKie will be a player/coach, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. McKie had been an assistant coach for the Sixers this season but remained the property of the Lakers, who signed and traded him Friday to help fill out the salary requirements of the Gasol swap. The odds of McKie having any fantasy value are slim, at best, even in the deepest of leagues.

Aaron McKie left Tuesday's game with back spasms, according to the AP. He was examined by a back specialist on Wednesday, and he's already been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Clippers.
