New coach Michael Curry commented on the possibility of dealing Rasheed Wallace, according to the Detroit Free Press. Curry noted that Wallace is a very talented and emotional player, but his behavior sometimes hurts the team. Curry also stated that Joe Dumars is looking to trade players if he can get someone as good or better in return. He then said, "There's not a lot of bigs out there that are as good as 'Sheed or better. If you can find a young big, or a player that's just as good as 'Sheed, then maybe Joe moves him."

Rasheed Wallace is one of those fiery players who dances to his own music. Sheed could be seen following Wednesday's loss directing his venom at the officiating crew. Without his perimeter shooting and focus, the Pistons will struggle with the Celts even at home.

You will hear NBA fans proclaim Richard Hamilton and Chauncey Billups as the kings of Detroit, but it is center Rasheed Wallace who sets the tone for this squad and his efforts helped the Pistons earn a 103-97 victory over the Boston Celtics. Wallace went 4-for-7 from the field, 2-for-4 from the three-point line, and 2-for-4 at the charity stripe to score 13 points, spiced with 10 rebounds to give Wallace the double-double on the evening.
May 13, 2008
Rasheed Wallace, known for making outlandish guarantees (not Jameer Nelson), has been conspicuously quiet lately, but with his Detroit team in the 3-1 driver's seat in the series, Wallace likely doesn't want to rock the boat.

Rasheed Wallace made 9 of 21 shots from the field on Monday night and managed to score 23 points thanks to five 3-pointers. There are few big men with better long range shots than Wallace, and he proved that once again tonight. Though he barely averages 13 points and is just under seven boards a game this year, Wallace still usually steps up when the pressure is on.

The Cavs came in and put an emphasis on guarding DetroitÂ’s Rasheed Wallace , and it worked. Wallace went just 6-of-17 from the field and 2-of-8 from three-point range, scoring 16 points with six rebounds. Wallace has become a lethal outside shooter but the Cavs found a way to limit those efforts. This the fourth game in a row that Wallace has struggled to find the bottom of the net, so keep that in mind as you ponder your fantasy lineups.
