Rasheed Wallace said he "more than likely" will be a game-time call on Thursday, according to the Detroit Free Press. He's missed the past two games with bilateral soreness in his right ankle. "There's nothing I can say that it will be healed in two weeks or three weeks or whatever," Wallace said. "I wish I could, but there's nothing I can say about that. I've just got to try to keep playing through it, and if it gets bad again, I might have to sit out again and wait till it (the swelling) goes down."

Joe Dumars told a Detroit radio station on Friday that Rasheed Wallace will miss the next two games. However, according to the Detroit News, Wallace had a short workout on Friday, and the team trainer left open the possibility of Wallace playing tonight. Wallace is dealing with pain in both ankles.

"Once I did go down, I had to play with it," Wallace said. "It was no holds barred at that point. I knew I had all summer to rehab it and now I am straight." The Pistons will likely be cautious with Wallace early on.

The Pistons were informed by the NBA that the league would be rescinded either of two technical fouls that Rasheed Wallace earned on Friday, according to the Detroit News. Pistons coach Flip Saunders indicated the team was hoping at least one of the techs would be reversed since Wallace was tossed after jawing with Steve Francis and not one of the referees. Wallace now has 14 techs on the year, and if he reaches 16 he will earn a one-game suspension.
