Celtics GM Danny Ainge believes forward P.J. Brown is headed to retirement. "I just don't think he'll play again," Ainge tells the Boston Globe. "That's my gut. He's 39 years old. He's got a nice family and he finished it off in a nice way."

Updating a previous story, the Celtics have activated recently-acquired forward P.J. Brown for tonight's game versus Detroit, according to the Associated Press. Brown has not played at all this season and is sure to experience some pain in getting back in playing shape, but he is a quality backup forward that could help the team come playoff time.
