Shaquille ONeal is expected to return from knee surgery sometime in January, but there's still no specific timeframe, according to the Miami Herald. "I think somewhere in January," coach Pat Riley said. "And, again, we're not going to rush anything. Maybe after the first of the year, I can't even tell, I haven't talked to the doctors yet, but somewhere in that period of time, maybe he'll get back to some court action. I'll definitely have to reacquaint him to some of our system things that we've changed or updated, offense. So, it'll be a process there, first, mentally, before physical activity starts."

Heat coach Pat Riley said yesterday that the timetable for the return of Shaquille O'Neal has now been pushed into January, according to the Sun-Sentinel. Shaq still is slowly recovering from knee surgery. "Until he's 100 percent healthy, and he's running hard and jumping around on the thing, I'm not going to mess with it," Riley said.
