Sam Cassell said Friday that his right elbow should be fine for Sunday's game, according to the Star-Tribune. Cassell was hit on the elbow in Thursday's game and had trouble with his shot after the play.

Sam Cassell underwent surgery Tuesday to repair torn cartilage in his hip, according to the Star-Tribune. "He actually had cartilage around the hip joint that had fractured. They cleaned it out, and found a couple of little fragments," said T-Wolves VP Kevin McHale. "So now it's four to five weeks of rest, and then everthing else [rehab]. Sammy should be fine long before training camp, which is good."
