Ray Allen is expected to rejoin the Sonics Friday, the Seattle Times reports. Allen stayed in Seattle as his fiancee, Shannon, gave birth to their second son Wednesday afternoon.

Ray Allen will miss tonight's game to be with his fiancee for the birth of their child, according to the Seattle Times. It's possible Allen, who will be replaced in the starting lineup by Damien Wilkins, will be able to return to action tomorrow.

Ray Allen said he might miss games tonight and tomorrow, according to the Seattle Times. His fiancee is pregnant and past the due date, so she may require a C-section. "I really don't have all the details right now," Allen said. "I'll go home and talk to her and see what she says. Whatever she says, we'll go with that. Family is my first priority. It's the most important thing and I'm going to be there for that."

Ray Allen did team work with the Sonics Thursday, though it's not clear if he'll be good to go Saturday against Toronto, the Seattle Times reports. Allen is coming back from a brone bruise in his right ankle. "I hope to play. At this moment, I'm definitely planning on it," said Allen, who performed a shooting drill without a noticeable limp. "I could sit out for numerous amounts of days more or weeks and think that maybe I might not have soreness or pain or whatever it is, but I'll never know until I play and understand what I'll be able to deal with. So it's not going to do me any good sitting on the sidelines."

Ray Allen had the bone bruise on his right ankle examined Monday and has been cleared to practice Thursday, according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. He could return to action on Saturday against the Raptors.

Ray Allen will have his bruised right ankle examined again today, according to the Seattle Times. Coach Brian Hill said he hopes that Allen can return to game action on Saturday, but nothing will be certain until Allen is looked over today.

Ray Allen will miss at least seven games due to a contusion of the talus bone in his right foot, according to the Sonics' website. Allen will sit out the next two home games and then miss the Sonics road trip while he remains in Seattle receiving treatment. Allen will be reevaluated in about two weeks.

An MRI on the right ankle of Ray Allen revealed a bone contusion, and no ligament or tendon damage, according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. He will meet today with team doctors to determine a rehabilitation plan. His status for Friday's game is uncertain. "Not overly," Allen said Tuesday night when asked if he was concerned about his long-term health. "(After the MRI) at least I'll know how deep the rabbit hole is. It's a significant amount of pain. It gives me pain when I am running."
