You just got to take it with a grain of salt. Denver is where I want to be. But I definitely want to be where I'm wanted."

Marcus Camby sat out his second straight game Monday with a bruised left knee, and coach George Karl is wondering if he's played the injury-prone center too much this season. "I think it's more of the wear and tear of an older player," Karl said in the Denver Post. "There's sometimes a need in a season to rest the bones and get the tendons and ligaments a little healthier. Marcus' knee is sore, no question. Just because it's an important game, we don't want to get crazy and put him out for a longer period of time." Karl is likely to be more cautious with Camby once the Western Conference's leading rebounder returns.

Marcus Camby, who leads the Western Conference with 14.3 rebounds per game, is questionable for tonight's game because of a bruised left knee, according to the Denver Post. "I would love to have him back — we struggled without his rebounds (against Charlotte on Saturday)," Nuggets guard Anthony Carter said. "You can see a big difference with him out there, changing shots, things like that. He brings a whole different dimension to our team, and we miss him big time, because you can't replace that." If Camby is unable to play tonight, seldom-used Steven Hunter could start at center. Hunter had eight points, six rebounds and two blocked shots Saturday against Charlotte.

A left knee contusion kept Marcus Camby from playing on Saturday, according to the Denver Post. "It's been bothering me for a week and a half now. I've just been playing through it," Camby said. "I've been giving it up for the team the last couple of weeks. Everyone's been playing banged-up, though, so that's no excuse. But Monday (against Portland) is definitely a big game. So I'm just trying to get as healthy as possible." The injury might require him to take games off on occasion the rest of the way, but considering the oft-injured center has missed just three games this season, that's not so bad.
