Allen Iverson made his Nuggets debut Friday night, scoring 22 points on 9-of-15 shooting while dishing out 10 dimes. Iverson came off the bench in his first game but that's only because he arrived in Denver just a few hours before game time. After sitting out the first 8:35 he played the remaining 39 minutes.

The Nuggets are hoping to have Allen Iverson available for Friday's game with Sacramento, but it's no sure thing as poor weather has kept him from flying into the Denver area, the Rocky Mountain News reports. "We're at the mercy of the weatherman," vice president of basketball operations Mark Warkentien said. "You can't land anything in Denver. We are working on alternatives as we speak. David Aldridge of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that the 76ers have agreed to a deal that sends Allen Iverson to the Nuggets in exchange for Andre Miller, Joe Smith and both of Denver's 2007 first-round picks. The deal is pending commissioner approval. Iverson will probably get fewer shots playing on a team with Carmelo Anthony, but that won't matter until Melo returns from his suspension.
