The Times-Picayune reports that Marc Jackson could make his season debut Saturday. He's been out thus far with a strained right hamstring. With David West out, it's possible Jackson could have some short-term value.

Marc Jackson is expected to begin practicing today, according to the Times-Picayune. Jackson continues to recover slowly from multiple hamstring injuries, but there's at least a chance he'll play Tuesday.

Marc Jackson is ahead of schedule in his return from a strained right hamstring, according to the AP. He was expected to miss the first month of the season. "He says he feels great, and that's what I've got to believe," head coach Byron Scott said Tuesday. "But I've also got to be very cautious as far as rushing him back because we didn't do that last time and he still hurt it."
