Matt Harpring underwent successful scope surgery to remove two bone spurs from his right ankle, this according to The Sports Network. The report notes that there is no timeline on Harpring's recovery or rehab schedule.

Matt Harpring received good news following his Wednesday colonoscopy and other tests on his ailing digestive tract. "I'm healthy," he told the Deseret News Thursday. Although biopsy results won't be fully known until next week, Harpring said doctors ruled out cancer and other diseases they might have suspected, like Crohn's disease, and told him the lining of his GI tract has actually begun to heal with the new medication he's taking. Harpring also practiced with the club Thursday.

Jazz forward Matt Harpring sat out Mondays game against Atlanta due to gastric distress. According to the AP, Harpring is expected to meet the team for its game in Charlotte on Wednesday, pending the outcome of tests.
