The Clippers have signed journeyman Ricky Davis to an undisclosed contract according to the Sports Ticker. He averaged 13.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.1 steals last season with Miami.

Ricky Davis continues to produce despite, uh, less than ideal conditions. He managed 17 points, seven assists, four boards, four threes, and three steals in a loss to the Cavaliers on Sunday.

There's not much to like in Miami these days, but Ricky Davis sure had a nice game Friday. The guard hit 11 of his 16 shots from the field, including nine threes, while adding eight assists, a rebound a steal and a block. The Heat, of course, still lost. Davis is capable of blowups like this, especially on a team with no other options, but he's obviously inconsistent.

Ricky Davis scored 14 points with six rebounds and an assist in Miami's 88-62 loss to Boston on Sunday. He only shot 4-of-13 from the field and 1-of-5 from long range, with seven turnovers and had two shots blocked against him. The Heat will be glad that this nightmarish season is almost over.

Ricky Davis scored a game-high 28 points in a 103-96 loss to the Knicks on Wednesday night. He also generated nine boards, six assists, and shot 7-of-10 from long range. That was notably his highest point total of the season.

Ricky Davis posted his second straight start on Saturday night, and chipped in with 27 points, four rebounds, and two assists in 41 minutes of action. Expect Davis to put up strong digits as long as he's in the starting lineup. Fantasy owners would be wise to pay attention to Davis' play time moving forward as there is potential connected to the Heats' swing man for the remainder of the season.

Ricky Davis said he doesn't want to be traded away from the Heat, according to the Miami Herald. "I definitely don't want to leave again," said Davis, in his second stint in Miami after a short stay in 2000-01. "I'm at the stage of my career where I'm trying to find a home, somewhere best for me. I want to be here." Nonetheless, with the Heat's season in the tank and the health of Shaq and Dywane Wade up in the air, they have little reason to keep Davis. Plus, he has an expiring contract, which is enticing to trade partners, so he may well be dealt before the deadline.

Ricky Davis is battling back spasms, according to the Miami Herald. That helps explain why he's scored in single digits each of the past four games. Davis has been a big disappointment since joining the Heat this season, but if healthy and Dwyane Wade and Shaq get shut down at some point, he could be a real sleeper later in the season.
