Brian Skinner left Thursday's game with a right ankle sprain, the AP reports. Skinner isn't much of a fantasy option even when healthy, as he's merely trying to make the Suns as a reserve.

Veteran forward Brian Skinner agreed on a one-year veteran’s minimum deal with the Suns on Monday, half of which is guaranteed according to the Arizona Republic. If Skinner remains on the team when opening day rosters are set Oct. 29, his $1.1 million salary will be guaranteed.

Free agent forward Brian Skinner worked out with a handful of free agents for the Suns on Thursday, as Phoenix continues to look for free-agent big men assuming that free agent P.J. Brown decides not to join the squad. Skinner hopes to be one of the players signed, however, and hasn’t worked out for any other teams. “This is the top of my list,” Skinner told the Arizona Republic. “It’s a championship ballclub.”
