No player has embodied New Orleans inconsistent play this series more than Peja Stojakovic. The shooting swingman was tops over the first two games, averaging 23.5 points and five boards in his team's two convincing wins. Yet in Games 3 and 4, Peja shot dismally, hitting just five of 16 total field-goal attempts and disappearing from the boards in Game 4.

Peja Stojakovic contributed 22 points in Saturday's 101-82 victory in Game 1. He also notched four rebounds and a steal. He hit 2-of-4 shots from long range.

After a bit of a quiet Game 1, Peja Stojakovic hit five of his seven three-point attempts and tallied 22 points in Game 2 against the Mavericks. He added two rebounds and two assists to the cause.

The Hornets put their standing in the West in jeopardy,losing to the Lakers 104-107, but Peja Stojakovic did his best to help the cause. Peja shot 9-of-16 from the floor, a whopping 6-of-11 from three-point land, and failed to earn a single foul in scoring 24 points with three rounds and one assist.

Peja Stojakovic enjoyed a wonderful evening on the hardwood in New Orleans' 116-101 victory over the Atlanta Hawks, scoring 29 points with nine rebounds and four assists.

Peja Stojakovic was one of the league's better shooters the first half of February, but that worm has turned the past week as he has now made just 10 of his last 35 shots including a terrible 4-for-16 on Monday night. Peja's game is shooting, so when he fails to do that well he really is pretty much dead weight given his season long averages of 4.0 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game.

Peja Stojakovic scored 27 points in the Hornets Tuesday night win over the Bulls. The Hornets shooting forward registered his third straight 20-plus point performance.

Peja Stojakovic didn't play at all during the fourth quarter of Sunday's game. Coach Byron Scott said Stojakovic was complaining of back stiffness, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. Back surgery cost him most of last season and has limited at times this season, so his condition is worth keeping an eye on.
