He's been sidelined with a sprained finger; a second set of X-rays taken Monday confirmed it wasn't broken. "I told (the doctors) that I've done sprained fingers before and never experienced this type of pain," Stojakovic said. "I thought there was something wrong, so I wanted to make sure."

Peja Stojakovic missed yesterday's game against the Spurs due to a sore lower back, according to the San Antonio Express. An MRI Monday revealed no serious damage to the spine. "It just got stiff on the long plane ride here," Stojakovic said. "I could hardly stand up to wash my face this morning. At this point, I just can't have the pain any more. The MRI showed it was negative, but I have inflammation in the lower back. Hopefully, it will go away."
