Jerome James is slated to undergo surgery on his foot on Monday. The procedure will remove a cyst and small bone spur from the top of his foot, according to the New York Daily News. For what it's worth, he'll be out indefinitely. Since he averaged 1.9 ppg last season, it's worth very little.

Knicks center Jerome James could need season-ending surgery on his right knee. James to the New York Post that the hardware in his knee from a 1999 reconstructive surgery is being rejected by his body, which is causing swelling and fluid to build up. James said he believes he can get back healthy enough to play a limited role and postpone surgery until this summer, but wouldnt say what he would do if the pain and swelling does not subside.

Jerome James has moved into the starting lineup for the Knicks in place of Channing Frye, according to the New York Post. Head coach Isiah Thomas said he'd stick with the new lineup into the All-Star break.
