Forward Rashard Lewis was the top scoring dog for the Magic this evening, shooting an impressive 11-of-15 from the floor, 5-of-6 from the three-point line, and 6-of-8 from the charity stripe to score 33 points.

Rashard Lewis scored 20+ for just the second time in five games, doing what he could to avoid the 97-98 loss to the New Orleans Hornets. Lewis hit 9-of-12 from the floor and a whopping 6-of-8 from three-point land to post 24 points. Unfortunately, the other numbers failed to impress: One rebound, four assists, two steals. Lewis has struggled to justify the big dollars he got this offseason and, as we saw this evening, scoring big isnât enough (for fantasy owners or the Magic).

Rashard Lewis, has been on a tear since the mid-season break. Lewis is shooting 50.1 percent (83 of 164) since the All-Star break and he's averaging 19.6 points per game. His fantasy contributions continue to grow and the Magic's shooting forward is a top option in deeper formats.

Rashard Lewis says that he would like to get a few more touches on offense, according to the Orlando Sentinel. "I'm not the type that likes to complain, especially when we're winning ball games," Lewis said. "We're 11 games over .500 and leading our division, but sometimes it is uncomfortable and I do get upset sometimes. "But the most important thing in the end is winning ballgames. As long as we can get the win, it doesn't matter if I shoot two or 20 times. If we get the loss, then I'm upset." Lewis is averaging 18.3 PPG and 5.2 RPG this season.

For the first time since January 15th, Rashard Lewis pumped in more than 20-points as he hit 9 of 14 shots on his way to 25 points and seven rebounds on Wednesday night. Lewis still gets his points, he is averaging more than 18 per game this season, but that is still a bit of a step down after averaging over 20-points in each of the past three seasons. The main reason is that his season long shooting percentage sits at 43.5%.
