Lamar Odom suffered an injury to his right pinky finger near the end of Tuesday's game. He was able to play through the issue, but this is something worth following up on in a day or two.

Lakers forward Lamar Odom participated in his first practice on Tuesday, the AP reported. Odom is recovering from offseason surgery on his left shoulder. “He did a lot more today than I thought he would,” general manager Mitch Kupchak said. “He went through half a practice. That’s good, as long as he doesn’t have soreness.”

Lakers forward Lamar Odom is scheduled for surgery in Los Angeles on Tuesday to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder, the L.A. Times reported. Odom had the same surgery two years ago and needed four months to recover. The doctors won’t know until they perform the surgery if this tear is as bad as the last one, which will determine his rehab timetable. Odom missed five games in March because of the shoulder injury, but played through it during the playoffs. He also missed 21 games earlier in the season with a sprained right knee that could also require surgery.

Lamar Odom had 18 points and 16 rebounds in Thursday's victory over Phoenix. The Lakers have struggled to support Kobe Bryant for most of the season, but for one night at least, that wasn't a problem.

Lamar Odom took an elbow from Steve Nash to his face yesterday and needed five stitches to close a gash over his left eyebrow, according to the LA Times. He should be set to take part in Game 2, though. "One of those guys got me pretty good," Odom said, smiling. "I'm looking forward to the next game and getting somebody back."

Lamar Odom was diagnosed Saturday with a left shoulder injury, according to the AP. Odom, who was injured Friday night against Sacramento, underwent an MRI exam Saturday that revealed a torn labrum, team spokesman John Black said. He didn't travel to Phoenix for a game on Sunday and will see a doctor Monday.
