Tired of hearing his name come up in trade rumors, Suns forward Shawn Marion wants out of Phoenix. With the team’s biggest contract and two years remaining on his deal, Marion’s name seems to come up every time a trade scenario is mentioned. “I haven’t done anything wrong,” Marion told the Arizona Republic. “I leave it on the floor night in and night out. Sometimes, it’s just time, and it’s time to go. “It’s been like a nightmare. It hurts me making this phone call. It’s hurting me in my stomach.”

Shawn Marion likely won’t be playing in this summer’s USA Basketball games due to plantar fasciitis, the Arizona Republic reported. Marion told Jerry Colangelo, the managing director for the USA men’s senior national team, that he has been bothered by the condition recently and that it would be hard for him to play this summer. As early as May, Marion told Colangelo he was 50-50 on playing.

Shawn Marion missed his second straight game Friday night because of a bruised right hand, according to the AP. Phoenix coach Mike D'Antoni said Marion's hand, injured Tuesday at Indiana, was too swollen and sore for him to play in Friday's rematch against the Pacers. "He can't go tonight," D'Antoni said. "We'll see about Sunday."
