Wally Szczerbiak is returning to form heading into his first full season with the Cavs, according to the Akron Beacon Journal. He is more comfortable with the team and said, "I think the camp's going well. I'm getting to know everyone a little better, going through the rigors, the aches and pains with all the guys doing shooting drills like we're doing, I think that's going to go a long way toward building chemistry and trust."

With LeBron James and Zydrunas Ilgauskas resting for the playoffs, it was forward Wally Szczerbiak carrying the load in the Cavs' 84-74 loss to the Detroit Pistons. Szczerbiak shot 8-of-18 from the field to score a team-high 18 points, adding five assists in a night otherwise void of noteworthy performance for Cleveland.

Wally Szczerbiak had been expected to sit out his second straight game Sunday due to the birth of his son, but he was back with the Cavs for their win over the Bulls. He played 26 minutes off the bench, hit six of his 13 shot attempts and finished with 17 points and three triples. Szczerbiak should continue to score in the teens and average 2-3 treys the rest of the season.

Wally Szczerbiak skipped Friday's game and will miss Sunday's run, too, to be with his wife for the birth of their third child, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. He's still trying to find his stroke since being dealt from Seattle to Cleveland, but he could be a decent source of triples down the stretch if he can get his game on.

Wally Szczerbiak scored 13 points and drained two triples Tuesday against the Bucks. Unfortunately, he was just 5-of-18 from the field, and Michael Redd pump-faked and dropped a game-winning trey right in Wally World's mug. Szczerbiak has come off the bench in both of his games since being dealt to the Cavs and scored only 10 points in his debut. The good news is that he's been on the floor late in each contest and has taken 28 shots, including 18 Tuesday. If he can find his rhythm, he should be a decent source of threes.

In the second largest trade in league history, three teams moved 11 players. Cleveland received Wally Szczerbiak , Delonte West, Joe Smith and Ben Wallace. Chicago receives Larry Hughes, Drew Gooden, Cedric Simmons and Shannon Brown. The Sonics will receive Adrian Griffin, Donyell Marshall and Ira Newble. Wally has been dealing with a sprained ankle, but he continues to be a consistent outside shooter hitting 43% of his three-point attempts, and he should offer the Cavs the outside threat that Larry Hughes never was able to become in Cleveland. With LeBron driving the lane, Szczerbiak figures to be the recipient of a bunch of wide open looks.

Wally Szczerbiak was in mid-season form on Monday night as he hit 3-of-4 three pointers and 6-of-12 shots overall on his way to 21 points in the Sonics loss to the Bulls. Kevin Durant also added an empty 20 points, he had only four rebounds and three assists, while Earl Watson scored 10 points with eight assists.
