Richard Hamilton went off for a career high 51 points in the Pistons triple-overtime loss to the Knicks Wednesday night. Hamilton was 19-for-37 from the field and 12-for-12 from the line.

Richard Hamilton likely will return to the hardwood for tonight's game after missing two contests with a hyperextended right elbow, according to the Detroit Free Press. Hamilton practiced the past two days, though he still had some soreness in the joint yesterday. "It's just something I've got to try and get through," he said. "The good thing about it is I was able to shoot, dribble and stuff like that."

Hamilton was called for a flagrant foul penalty during the game, but the league upgraded it to the more severe level two on Monday.

"I haven't reinjured it or anything like that. It's still a little broken up, but it's nothing I can't get out of."
