The Jazz's orthopedic surgeon said Thursday that Andrei Kirilenko will be out two-to-four weeks with his sprained ankle, according to the Salt Lake Tribune. "He's somebody we have to hold back a little bit," so he doesn't reinjure his ankle, Dr. Lyle Mason said. "Realistically, for him to be able to run and jump and turn, we're talking about two to four weeks." It was originally thought that he would only be out one-to-two weeks.

He's aiming to play Saturday, though he'll see limited action at first. "We'll play him five minutes [and] see how he feels. After he warms up again at halftime, we can play him another five minutes," trainer Gary Briggs said. "After that, we'll bump his minutes up in each stretch."
