Greg Buckner was traded to Memphis as part of the eight player swap between the Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves, reports ESPN.com.

Greg Buckner did not play on Friday due to a sprained left knee that will sideline him indefinitely, according to the AP. "I don't know how long he'll be out," Mavericks coach Avery Johnson said before Friday night's game. "It could be two days, it could be a week or 10 days."

Greg Buckner will likely start for a couple of weeks while Josh Howard rehabs his ankle injury, the AP reports. Buckner is averaging 5.3 points and 2.7 rebounds through three games, though he's only played 63 minutes over that span.
