The Knicks brought in guards Jerryd Bayless and Eric Gordon for workouts on Tuesday, the New York Post reports. "I have all the tools," head coach Mike D'Antoni informs Bayless. "I just need an engine to run it." The Knicks own the No. 6 pick in the June draft.

Jamal Crawford scored a game-high 39 points in a losing effort against Atlanta, 114-109. He also chipped in eight assists and three steals, and hit 7-of-10 shots from long range. He is averaging 28.7 points over his last four games.

Jamal Crawford missed only one game before returning to the lineup on Monday night. Perhaps his injured right hand disrupted his shooting as was able to hit just 5 of 15 shots. Crawford posts points, almost 21 a game, but with a shooting percentage of 41% and and average of less than three boards a game, the points ring pretty hollow.

Jamal Crawford missed Saturday's game due to a bruised right hand and is questionable for Monday's contest, according to the New York Daily News. X-rays revealed no breaks, but he had some swelling in his hand Saturday. With Crawford, Zach Randolph and Eddy Curry all out, Nate Robinson went on a shooting spree Saturday, posting a career-best 45 points.

Jamal Crawford sustained a bruised right hand during Friday's game against the Pistons, according to the New York Daily News. It's not clear if it will affect his availability for Saturday's run with the Trail Blazers.

Jamal Crawford scored 23 points and registered seven assists in Saturday's loss to the Magic. Crawford had 17 points in the first quarter and a half helping the Knicks to an early lead. But lacking defense and effort, the Knicks allowed the short-handed Magic to shoot better than 50 percent from the floor eventually giving away a game they probably should have won.

Jamal Crawford was on his game on Friday night as he poured in 43 points in the Knicks four point victory over the Raptors. Crawford jacked up 29 shots hitting fifteen including six 3-pointers. Crawford was actually 9-for-13 inside the arc as he took an astonishing 16 three point attempts on the night.

Jamal Crawford scored 26 points and added seven assists despite making only 8 of 21 shots and just 1 of 6 from downtown. Someone has to score for the Knicks and that someone is Crawford who continues to put up 20 points on a regular basis despite often times shooting like he has had three or four beers at halftime as he is shooting under 41% on the year.

Jamal Crawford led the Knicks to a 99-98 victory over the Bucks by scoring a team-high 30 points. For good measure he also tossed in four rebounds and five assists. Crawford, scoring more than 20 points per game, has hit at least two shots from downtown in each of the last five games.

A recent blog from a writer for a Seattle newspaper suggested that Jamal Crawford would welcome a trade to his hometown Sonics, but the guard has said there is no basis for the report. "I'm happy where I'm at," Crawford told the New York Post. "I definitely want to win, but I don't want to jump ship when things are tough. I want to be part of the reason when we turn it around." Crawford is leading the Knicks with 19.9 points per game this year.
February 4, 2008
Jamal Crawford scored 18 points on only 7-of-21 shooting in their loss to the Clippers, 103-94 on Monday night. Crawford also added four rebounds and five assists in the loss while teammate Eddie Curry led the Knickerbockers with 19 points on 7-for-11 shooting.

Jamal Crawford sustained a new injury during Friday's game. Crawford sprained his left shoulder in the third quarter, according to the New York Daily News. He remained in the game but missed all five of the shots he attempted after sustaining the injury. Crawford also recently missed a game with a hand injury. Aside from shooting just 40 percent from the floor, Crawford is a solid fantasy contributor - so long as he can stay healthy. He hopes to suit up for Saturday's run against the Rockets.
