The AP reports that center Jamaal Magloire had his first on-court workout Wednesday since breaking his left hand last month. He's still barred from contact, but has dropped his weight to 250 (from 267) and his body fat to 9.1 percent (from 13). Magloire thinks he could play "in the next two weeks," but doctors believe it'll take a little longer.

"He had a decent practice for a guy coming in for the first time," Avery Johnson said. "Whether we put him on the active list or inactive to give him time to get into better shape, see how he fits in, we'll try to time it as best we can." Mags has little fantasy value even when he's healthy and dressed.
