Bucks' GM John Hammond has informed Michael Redd that no trades involving him have been initiated yet, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Redd was told to not pay attention to the trade rumors circulating, but Redd commented that he wants to win a title and not just settle for making the playoffs.

The Bucks are reportedly close to naming Scott Skiles as their new head coach, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Skiles was the Bucks first-round pick in 1986, but he lasted only one season with the team. He eventually went on to star with the Magic. He has posted a 281-251 record as a head coach with the Suns and Bulls.

The Milwaukee Bucks fired head coach Larry Krystkowiak on Thursday after a 31-69 record in less than two years with the club, this according to NBA.com. “Larry Krystkowiak is a good man who worked very hard for the Milwaukee Bucks,” said GM John Hammond. “Sometimes despite even the best efforts, the results don’t end up how we want them."

Michael Redd continues to enjoy strong individual performances despite another disappointing season for the Milwaukee Bucks. Redd shot 7-of-18 from the field, 2-of-5 from the three-point arc, and 2-of-2 from the free-throw line to score 18 points, also adding four rebounds. Redd tends to go higher, so this ranks as a disappointment, but Redd knows how to get his shots and will come with his top game more often than not.

Michael Redd continues to prove his mettle as one of the best scoring guards in the NBA, tonight shooting 12-of-22 from the field and 4-of-9 from the three-point line (as well as 8-of-11 from the charity stripe) to post 36 points in the Bucks’ exciting 119-115 victory over the Knickerbockers of New York. Redd added nine assists, six rebounds, and two steals to seal a wonderful night for fantasy owners, proving his value as one of the top fantasy commodities in the game.

He also tossed in six rebounds and five assists. As many anticipated Mo Williams will likely take a bit of a step back off his torrid pace of late with Redd back in the lineup as he did on the night with 14 points, though he still managed to dish out nine assists.

To help offset his shooting woes, Redd produced seven rebounds and a season-high 11 assists. The mark of a great player is that they find a way to produce value even when struggling, and Redd did that tonight while almost producing a triple double despite scoring at roughly half his normal rate (22.9).
