Morris Peterson was poked in the eye during practice yesterday and went to see a doctor about it, according to the Toronto Star. It doesn't appear to be anything serious enough to keep him out of the season opener tonight, though. Mo Pete has played 361 consecutive games, and it looks like he may finally have come into his own as a quality fantasy option.

Morris Peterson was ejected from Sunday's game after swatting Vince Carter in the face. Carter, a close friend, had just give Peterson a friendly slap in the face, but the officials apparently didn't recognize that the two were just goofing off. Peterson had drawn a technical foul earlier, and the second technical drew the automatic ejection.
