The Orlando Sentinel reports that Hedo Turkoglu is expected to miss Saturday night's game against the Houston Rockets because of the flu. Turkoglu said he did not feel well Friday night after the Magic's win in Indiana against the Pacers. He shot 1-of-13.

Forward Hedo Turkoglu expects to opt out of his contract after the 2008-09 season. "It does make sense (to opt out), actually," Turkoglu explains to the Orlando Sentinel. "I would love to stay in Orlando...but this is a business. My business is to play my game." General manager Otis Smith says the club would like to keep him, and they will likely have discussions between now and the February trade deadline.

The Orlando Magic have seen their season come to an end, suffering the 91-86 defeat in Game 5 of their Eastern Conference semifinals against the Detroit Pistons. The Magic were led by forward Hedo Turkoglu , shooting 8-of-15 from the floor, 0-of-2 from the three-point line, and 2-of-2 from the charity stripe to score a team-leading 18 points.

Hedo Turkoglu scored 23 points to help the Magic lock up the 3rd seed in the playoffs with their 101-86 victory over the Cavaliers. As he has done for most of the year, Tukoglu contributed across the board with five rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocked shots as he continues to post the best numbers of his career.

Hedo Turkoglu put his best foot forward in hopes of finding a much-needed win for the Orlando Magic, but his efforts fell short in the 97-98 loss to the Hornets. Turkoglu went 10-of-19 from the field, 2-of-3 from the three-point line, and 4-of-6 from the charity stripe to score 26 points with seven assists. Turkoglu has been hit-or-miss throughout his career, but performances like this show he has the potential to do so much more.

Hedo Turkoglu received some good news on Wednesday, as an MRI showed no major damage in his right wrist, the Orlando Sentinel reports. He is day-to-day. Keith Bogans would start if Turkoglu misses some time, which may be expected.

Hedo Turkoglu will undergo an MRI on Wednesday to determine the extent of his right wrist injury. X-rays were inconclusive due to swelling, the Orlando Sentinel reports. "I'm crossing my fingers," Turkoglu says. "I just fell on it. I hope it's just a sprain. I hope it's not something like it was broken and keeps me away." We'll update his status when more is known.

Hedo Turkoglu sprained his right wrist Tuesday and was forced to exit the game. He played just 10 minutes and finished with two points. The severity of the sprain wasn't immediately known. If he's out for an extended period, look for Rashard Lewis to pick up the scoring slack.

The Magic may have lost in heart-breaking fashion, 86-87, to the Washington Wizards, but do not fault Hedo Turkoglu . Turk scored a whopping 39 points, going 11-of-20 from the field and an impressive 7-of-9 from three-point land. The Turk did this damage during 40 minutes of play, a sizable workload that is becoming the norm for the Magic PG. He rarely goes off for this many points, but tonight's performance was impressive nonetheless.

Hedo Turkoglu scored a season best 31 points on Friday night in the Magic's 115-99 victory over the 76ers. Hedo was huge from downtown hitting 7 of 11 long ones on his way to 9-for-17 shooting. For good measure Hedo tossed in five rebounds and seven assists. Turkoglu continues to produce the best numbers of his career and he has now recorded at least 16 points in 15 of the last 17 games.

Hedo Turkoglu scored 25 points to lead all five Magic starters who scored in double digits in their 118-111 loss to the Cavs. Tukoglu continues his career season putting up huge numbers on a nightly basis. Tonight, besides the points, Hedo tossed in six boards and five assists while nailing 4-of-7 three pointers.

Hedo Turkoglu suffered a sprained right ankle Wednesday night as a result of stepping on the foot of a cameraman. He walked off the injury and stayed in the game, but that didn't keep coach Stan Van Gundy from being upset. "If Turk can't play Friday, don't come in here with a camera filming me," Van Gundy said to open his news conference after the game, according to the Orlando Sentinel. "I'm serious. That's dangerous." Turkoglu should be able to suit up Friday despite his coach's comments.

Hedo Turkoglu recorded the first triple double of his career in the Magic's 107-98 loss to the Magic. Hedo scored 13 points, had a career best 13 assists and he added 12 rebounds. Dwight Howard added 28 points and eight boards in the loss.
