The AP reports that Oklahoma City Thunder swingman Desmond Mason will not play in Monday’s game against the Houston Rockets thanks to an elbow injury. Mason injured the elbow in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Bucks are "leaning heavily" towards picking small forward Joe Alexander with the No. 8 pick, the Newark Star-Ledger reports. The 6-8 Alexander averaged 16.9 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in his junior year at West Virginia.

Desmond Mason was forced to exit Tuesday's game with a bruised knee, according to the AP. However, he was able to return to action and finished with five points, five dimes and six boards. Mason only has value for those in the deepest of leagues.

Desmond Mason just missed a double-double Friday night as he ended with 15 points and nine boards. He also notched four assists and two steals. Mason is now averaging 14.4 points over his last four games.

Desmond Mason is set to return to action on Saturday, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. He's been out for six weeks due to a torn ligament in his left thumb. With Michael Redd out of the mix, Mason may even see enough action to make a little fantasy noise in his return.

Desmond Mason might be able to retun as early as Feb. 2, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. He's coming back from thumb surgery back on Dec. 22.
