Brown reportedly to guide Bobcats Charlotte, NC (Sports Network) - It appears Larry Brown has an agreement to
coach his ninth different NBA team, this time guiding the Charlotte Bobcats.
The Charlotte Observer reported the agreement for Brown and the team called a
news conference for Tuesday afternoon. He would replace Sam Vincent, whose
honeymoon phase as an NBA head coach was a quick one, as the Bobcats relieved
the first-year head coach of his duties on Saturday.

The Bobcats will announce the hiring of Larry Brown as their head coach on Tuesday, the Charlotte Observer reports. Brown has coached the Nuggets, Nets, Spurs, Clippers, Pacers, 76ers, Pistons, and Knicks during his career. He ranks fifth in all-time wins with 1,010. Brown also coached the Carolina Cougars of the ABA from 1972-74 and played for the North Carolina Tarheels.
Reports suggest the Bobcats will go after Larry Brown to replace Sam Vincent as head coach. If Brown doesn't get the gig, the Bobcats may turn to Paul Silas, the Charlotte Observer reports.
Raymond Felton used tonight's season finale end on a high note as his Charlotte Bobcats put the Philadelphia 76ers to bed, 109-115. Felton went 6-of-12 from the field and 6-of-7 from the free-throw line to score 18 points, adding 12 assists to complete the double-double effort.
