Nuggets close out season by besting Grizzlies
Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Allen Iverson led seven Nuggets in double figures with 21 points, and Denver tuned up for its playoff run with a 120-111 season-ending victory over the Memphis Grizzlies at the Pepsi Center.

Despite the win the Nuggets (50-32) couldn't jump the seventh-seeded Dallas Mavericks, who locked the spot up earlier on Wednesday with a 111-98 victory over New Orleans.

Tests have shown that Carmelo Anthony's blood alcohol level was over the legal limit when he was arrested for driving under the influence on April 14. Attorney Dan Recht tells ESPN.com, "This is old news in that Carmelo has admitted from the beginning that he had been drinking and driving and he should not have been." Anthony is due in court on May 14.
