The Saints have cut special teams ace Fred McAfee, according to the team's official site. "It was a tough decision," coach Sean Payton said about the decision on McAfee. "It was the hardest cut I had to make. I think he is a special person and I think he's had a great career. He is exactly what I am looking for from a character standpoint, a work ethic standpoint and what he stands for."
