Mike Alstott has decided to delay his retirement, signing a one-year contract with the Bucs on Thursday, according to the AP. Alstott, who carried 60 times for 171 yards and three TDs in 2006, could see a bit more playing time this season if fullback Jerald Sewell leaves as a free agent.

It looks like Mike Alstott will rejoin the Bucs for another season. "Mike has decided he wants to come back in 2007 and play football," Alstott's wife, Nicole, told the Tampa Tribune on Friday. "Everybody loves to watch him and he's still a fantastic football player." Contract details would need to be worked out, of course.
