Mike Alstott returned to practice on Monday and is expected to see significant playing time in Saturday's exhibition game, according to the St. Petersburg Times. He had been out with a pinched nerve in his neck.

Mike Alstott will miss tonight's preseason game due to a pinched nerve in his neck, according to the St. Petersburg Times. "He will not play in the game. He has, as we said yesterday, a burner in his neck. It's not related to the previous injury," coach Jon Gruden said, referring to the herniated disc that cost Alstott most of 2003.

Mike Alstott left morning practice yesterday with a pinched nerve in his neck and didn't take part in the afternoon session as a precaution, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The injury is not believed to be serious, but considering he underwent surgery on his neck prior to last season, it's cause for concern.
