Keenan McCardell was not limited in Friday's practice and the Chargers upgraded him to probable for Week 15, according to the team's official site. McCardell has been dealing with a calf injury. He's still a risky play, however, given that he's yet to score a touchdown all season.

Given that McCardell has yet to score a touchdown this year or even top the 65-yard mark, there's little reason to have him in your plans right now.

McCardell's fantasy value isn't much these days so long as the Chargers keep rotating their receivers; he's yet to score a touchdown this season and he's regularly taken off the field in red-zone situations.

Keenan McCardell is getting limited snaps in the red zone and at the goal line, which partially explains why he hasn't scored any touchdowns this year, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports. The Chargers simply believe they have more useful weapons inside the red zone, such as 6-foot-5 receivers Vincent Jackson and Malcom Floyd.

Keenan McCardell might see punt-return duty Sunday at Denver if Eric Parker (neck) is limited in any way, the North County Times reports. Rookie Anthony Cromartie is another option but for the moment, McCardell appears to be the first guy Marty Schottenheimer would look to in a pinch.
